Course details
Do you find it difficult to draw people’s faces? Do you find yourself avoiding it? Learn from Steven Buckler whose background in animation and MA in illustration will help you tackle it.
Following Steven’s demonstrations, learn the right proportions of the face and then build features into it that you can shape to become individual. Let him guide you in helping the drawings become more 3D by adding shading and tone.
By the end of the session you will have some drawings you are pleased with. You’ll leave the session with a new way of approaching drawing that you can practice with any subject: observational drawing, illustration, cartoons and anime.
For young artists aged 11-16, this group helps young people connect with their creativity and get to know contemporary art practices.
We are happy to continue to offer limited FREE Scholarship places for those on low income. Please contact Cat Lee Youth Arts Manager for a Scholarship application form to apply [email protected].
