Sunday Club - Making Cyanotypes

- Materials included

For children aged 7-12, this is a Kids Art Club like no other, where children get to work on easels and use the same high art quality materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and start to take their first steps as Young Artists.

Come and enjoy the exciting yet simple process of cyanotype printing!

You will use natural and found materials to make your own design. Artist Annabel Wilkes will help you turn these into beautiful blue prints on light sensitive paper. You will also have the opportunity to create your own concertina booklet, of which you can draw designs on your covers. You will use this book to display your collection of prints.

You will learn;

  • How to make a design using positive/negative shapes and found materials
  • The process of cyanotype printing
  • How to make a concertina booklet to display your creations
  • Observational drawing to design your book covers.
