Course details
Does your art practice need a shake up? Do you want to try out different materials and methods of making in a relaxing studio environment with no pressure?

Join artist Steven Buckler for an afternoon exploring different materials to capture the energy of your subject matter.
In this workshop you will explore the combination of a range of media; pencil, charcoal, ink, paint, collage. Working from sketches made in the lanes around the studio, you will learn which media you can mix, and which you can’t and some techniques to help you to do this. It will challenge your preconceived ideas of what’s “right” and encourage you to adopt a creative and experimental mindset; not just how to “loosen up your painting” but how to “loosen up your thinking”.
Please note: This is an adult workshop, however we would welcome children aged 14 or over, if accompanied by a paying adult. This is the case as we cannot guarantee that all our tutors have been DBS checked.
