Course details
Join us for an interesting, hands-on workshop where young artists will explore a collection of work by contemporary artist Gabriel Orozco.

Based on Orozco’s Plant Diary series shown at Mason’s Yard, London; feel inspired by his combination of colours, shapes and organic mark-making of botanical forms.
Participants will begin by discovering Orozco’s techniques, looking closely at how he layers forms and colours. Young artists will respond to his work, using a range of media and techniques to develop their own visual ideas and play with chance. Young artists will then get to work together on a large art piece, on a collectively made artwork.
This workshop is a chance to experiment, take creative risks, and work like real artists in a supportive, inspiring environment, taught by Laura Kent.
For children aged 7-10, this is a Kids Art Club like no other, where children get to work on easels and use the same high quality art materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and start to take their first steps as Young Artists.
