Ever wondered how to use ink? In this workshop young artists aged 7 to 12 will be taught how to capture seascapes rapidly in ink. Learn about drawing with graphite, creating tone with ink, and then incorporate wax with artist Victoria Gillow.

Inspired by Victoria’s approach to working around our Cornish Coast, and through demonstration and guidance, young artists will be taught how to capture seascapes rapidly in ink. They will learn how to develop line, tone, expressive marks and how to illustrate force, mood and weather.

For children aged 7-12, these Summer workshops are like no other, where children get to work in our studio overlooking the sea and use the same high quality art materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and leave feeling inspired with beautiful artwork.
