This fun painting workshop is for 7-13 year olds. Unleash your creativity and explore the vibrant world of abstract and expressive painting with Laura Kent.
Experiment with bold acrylic colour and new materials which will develop your approach to painting.
In this hands-on workshop, Laura will guide you through using new processes, support you to trust your instincts and work with a range of materials and tools to create different marks, textures and forms.
You will go away with a set of expressive and contemporary landscape paintings, full of energy and bursting with colour.
For children aged 7-13, these Summer workshops are like no other, where children get to work in our studio overlooking the sea and use the same high art quality materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and leave feeling inspired with beautiful work. An ideal opportunity for your children to channel their inner artist, in our historic studios, whilst you relax.
What to Bring
All materials are provided and aprons, though we encourage you to wear old clothes.
Timings and Breaks
The morning workshop starts at 10.30am and finishes at 1pm. The afternoon workshop starts at 2pm and finishes at 4.30pm.
Please aim to arrive ten minutes before the start time.
