This is a workshop for 7-13 year olds. Dive into a world of ocean patterns.

Inspired by the intricate natural forms illustrated by Ernst Haeckel, this creative workshop invites children to explore pattern, colour and form through hands-on making.
Led by artist Alessandra Ausenda, children will experiment with drawing, texture rubbings and mixed media collage. They’ll learn how to cut, arrange and layer a variety of materials to develop their own unique designs.
Encouraging curiosity and creativity, the session takes inspiration from the shapes and colours of the underwater world – supporting children to create imaginative, visually rich artworks in a relaxed and supportive environment.
For children aged 7-13, these Summer workshops are like no other, where children get to work in our studio overlooking the sea and use the same high art quality materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and leave feeling inspired with beautiful work. An ideal opportunity for your children to channel their inner artist, in our historic studios, whilst you relax.
