Win a Place on our Wilhelmina Barns-Graham inspired course

To celebrate the opening of Wilhelmina Barns-Graham’s major retrospective at Tate St Ives this October, we’re giving one person the opportunity to join our art course inspired by her life and work.
Landscape to Abstraction inspired by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham is a three-day course led by artist Kitty Hillier in our historic Porthmeor Studios, from 30 October – 1 November 2026.
Inspired by Barns-Graham’s studies of the Cornish sea, rocks and coastline, you’ll begin by drawing and gathering ideas on Porthmeor Beach. Back in the studio, you’ll transform your observations into sketches, collages and paintings, experimenting with colour, texture and mixed media along the way.
