blank test

  1. Start with a warm-up by looking at your painting for a few minutes, then turn it round, so you can’t see it, and draw what you remember using any drawing medium you like.
  2. Using a black and white copy or photocopy of the painting, make cropped areas to work from. Create ‘moments’ using graphite powder, pencil and a graphite stump with putty rubber. Focus on larger shapes and textures within the painting. You might like to try a dash of water, or water on a fine brush to make marks, then lightly dust the powder over. WEAR A MASK please when working with this powder.
