We are happy to provide unique and flexible workshops for school and college groups, which can be designed to meet your particular needs.
From life drawing to landscapes, these tailor-made workshops let you decide on your subject, select any mediums or materials you wish to work with and ensure that certain techniques or relevant areas of interest beneficial to your group are covered.
We can also help you organise visits to nearby galleries such as Tate St Ives, Barbara Hepworth or the St Ives Museum.
Group sizes of up to 15 can be accommodated in our studios, although 12 is preferred.
For further enquiries please give us a call on 01736 797180 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Did you know we deliver and support Arts Award?
Arts Awards for Visiting Schools
Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England. As a registered Arts Award Centre, The St Ives School of Painting has a number of artist tutors qualified to deliver Gold, Silver and Bronze Award. We also have a designated member of staff, Cat Lee, who manages Arts Award and anything related to young people.
As well as local students working on projects we are able to support visiting young people on school visits from across the UK to achieve parts of an award they are already working on. This can be through working directly with one of our artist tutors including arranging visits to artist studios working in Porthmeor Studios. See more information on how we provide Arts Award here.
To find out how we can help you achieve an Arts Awards qualification with us contact email@example.com or ring 01736 797180. More information on Arts Awards can be found on the national website, www.artsaward.co.uk.
