Designed to help you find out what makes you tick as a young artist; St Ives School of Painting’s Mini-Foundation is a series of artist led workshops for 13-18s.

With workshops led by professional artists specialising in each field, engage with ideas, techniques and materials that are often not accessible at school and expand your creative horizons. Get to use professional art materials in a working art studio with a like-minded group of young artists. Build on skills you learnt in the previous term and learn new things about each medium. Also suitable for new comers.

Day: Sundays fortnightly, from Jan – Mar
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Cost: £10 a session or book all 6 per term for the reduced price of £50 and other benefits

Book for the term and get a St Ives School of Painting Membership card, giving you one session free plus 10% off our art supplies. Attend five sessions a term and achieve a St Ives School of Painting Mini-Foundation certificate.

Porthmeor Young Artists Supporters

St Ives Rotary St Ives Rotary offer generous support  to the Schools’ work with local young people. Part of the proceeds raised by the annual artist postcard sale held during the September Festival  is donated to the School. This supports our Sunday Art Club as well as other creative programmes for local young people.
